It is exactly what it looks like, a great THEFT!

Beginning as a collage artist, I have been stealing photos, magazine ads, peoples faces, paintings, and whatever tangible material I can cut and manipulate to make something new. The Ratagonia idea was different and the same, and materialized from a dream to capture a culture. In the heart of Boston, well not actually the heart, there lies the less than glorious streets of Allston, infested with college kids, can collectors, and the humble resident rat. Allston by name, Rat City by nick-name, and Ratgonia by a select few. The disgustingly loved college neighborhood is home to Boston University’s social life, and a college culture that resembles the lives of our co-inhabitants the rats. The memories are blurred the stories are stretched and the culture is exactly what you want from a college neighborhood. So in honor of our four legged friends, Ratagonia was blatantly stolen from a more than successful brand and lovingly made into a shirt.
